When I was asked to show my work at the US Embassy Tri Mission gallery, I humbly embraced this singular opportunity. As I contemplated the vision of what I would create solely for the halls of this great institution – one theme emerged and stayed with me. Considering the transience of many diplomats’ locations – […]
The night of the Turner opening in Rome was a special mix of the dreamy artwork of the Romantic painter combined with the sparkling guests and conversations around the medieval atrium of the Chiostro del Bramante.
Rome is filled with hidden gems. Here’s one of my favorites just across from Castel Sant’Angelo – the Accademia di Costume e Moda, brimming with creativity, passion and design.
This year, the Valentino Spring show accomplished more than just a spring line, but a new way for modern women everywhere to look at fashion. What came of it was a color palette to melt even the biggest fan of muted neutrals, and a fantasia of down-to-earth dreaminess.
When you’re a designer, creativity isn’t so much a character trait, but rather a truth etched into your character. That’s why, on February 22, 2018 I’m excited to announce a showing of my work at Margutta Home. The gallery will be throwing an opening party for an exhibition of my printed works alongside other artist. Entitled digital / etching, the show will feature thirteen original pieces from my Iconics series.
In another series of my art dates, I explored the Fornasetti show at the Palazzo Altemps. The show was curated to create an overlapping dream world in a stunning conversation between ancient and post-modern, borrowing and adapting timeless icons into bold formats. It was not only beautiful in its whole, but also expertly curated in all its intricacies.
My artist (play)date with my son and friends at the Enjoy exhibition at Chiostro del Bramante was a playground for the senses. A show that leaves both children and adults alike feeling at home in wonderment, while provoking deeper questions of our assumed realities.
When an artist has dedication pulsing through them, amazing things can happen. Photographer Mauro Benedetti takes his passion and skill for capturing natural beauty to audiences at his upcoming talk at Leica Rome: “Rangefinding”, December 19, 2017.

Rinascente is the first of it’s kind in Rome, combining the Roman flair of craftsmanship with the modern luxury of New York. With more than 800 luxury stores, the iconic 8 story building incorporates every aspect of the Eternal City into it’s landscape. Rinascente is a designer’s ultimate paradise bringing modernity to the beautiful tradition of Rome.
There is no better feeling than finding an area where your creativity can blossom. As a designer, the ultimate escape into art and design in Rome is the Roma Europa Festival. Every year hundreds of artists and creatives from around the world gather to present their artistic escape, and create a landscape filled with performance, dance, music, and film.
Whenever I hear of a magazine taking on new editor-in-chief, I am always intrigued. With Emanuele Farneti heading Vogue Italia, the September issue already peaked my interest. But the intrinsic styling of timeless topics like “the kiss,” Roman glamour, and Caravaggio – this edition was a dynamic creation expressing a simple theme with lush photography and fashion’s whimsy.
