When you’re a designer, creativity isn’t so much a character trait, but rather a truth etched into your character. That’s why, on February 22, 2018 I’m excited to announce a showing of my work at Margutta Home. The gallery will be throwing an opening party for an exhibition of my printed works alongside other artist. Entitled digital / etching, the show will feature thirteen original pieces from my Iconics series.
In another series of my art dates, I explored the Fornasetti show at the Palazzo Altemps. The show was curated to create an overlapping dream world in a stunning conversation between ancient and post-modern, borrowing and adapting timeless icons into bold formats. It was not only beautiful in its whole, but also expertly curated in all its intricacies.
My artist (play)date with my son and friends at the Enjoy exhibition at Chiostro del Bramante was a playground for the senses. A show that leaves both children and adults alike feeling at home in wonderment, while provoking deeper questions of our assumed realities.
When an artist has dedication pulsing through them, amazing things can happen. Photographer Mauro Benedetti takes his passion and skill for capturing natural beauty to audiences at his upcoming talk at Leica Rome: “Rangefinding”, December 19, 2017.

Rinascente is a designer’s ultimate paradise bringing modernity to the beautiful tradition of Rome.
There is no better feeling than finding an area where your creativity can blossom. As a designer, the ultimate escape into art and design in Rome is the Roma Europa Festival. Whenever I hear of a magazine taking on new editor-in-chief, I am always intrigued. With Emanuele Farneti heading Vogue Italia, the September issue already peaked my interest. But the intrinsic styling of timeless topics like “the kiss,” Roman glamour, and Caravaggio – this edition was a dynamic creation expressing a simple theme with lush photography and fashion’s whimsy.
The Robert Rauschenberg exhibit at the MoMA provided a stunning inspiration for an artist’s date. His visionary collages brought to life the beauty of stylized technique and the beauty of the every day sites. His remarkable range of media from painting to silkscreen to sculpture to video is a beacon to any creative.
Part of the beauty of New York is the constant bustling and excitement of every unknown face. The characteristics of the city are made in the large hours of fleeting moments. Rome Photography Workshops will teach you just how to capture these moments through a limited 6 PopUp workshop engagement during August.
Inspiration is cultivated in a variety of ways by taking on new meaning for every designer. During a trip to both Met locations along with an artist friend, I experienced a storytelling of design through the works of Italian designer Ettore Sottsass and Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo.
My career has taken a variety of pathways throughout it’s course. Going from web designer to planning a psychodrama retreat in Southern Italy is just part of my path, and maybe yours as well.
