Angels are a fascination for a long history of artists, and I adore the study of this icon. Close to my Rome studio is Bernini’s bridge of angels, and the figure is ubiquitous in this ancient city. These winged spirits float through my works, immersed in new painted environments, surrounded by nature and interacting with color.
