I’ve been eyeing this Carracci sketch of an angel to use in an Iconic for some time. It seemed at first an odd pairing with the Pantone color of the 2022 – a deep periwinkle. The more I worked with the palette, the more the emotions of the figure came to the surface, playing against the color’s futuristic and high tech vibe.
