2024 | Creative Year in Review
2024 was nothing short of exceptional — it was one of my most creative years, filled with lots of shows, collaborations, and exciting projects. The journey of this year has been a tapestry of achievements, new experiences, and wonderful connections. Here are some highlights:
Laudatio Sie Show at Palazzo Braschi
It has been a privilege to work with the St Francis Day Foundation, the Italian Academy Foundation, the Sacro Convento di Assisi and the Museo di Roma to bring the show Laudato Sie: Nature and science to life at the Palazzo Braschi, Rome.
“The Francis Scarf” for Clù was inspired by this process.
Ruminations: Rome Show at the Tri-Mission Gallery at the United States Embassy of Rome
My solo exhibition at the U.S. Embassy Tri Mission Gallery, featuring selected works from my Iconics/Poetics series. This collection explored the layers, symbols, and figures from my observations of Rome, reflecting the city’s depth and timeless beauty.

After its debut at the prestigious Via Veneto location, Ruminations: Rome will move to a new venue—details to be announced soon.
Arias on Art… as Silk at the ULC Gallery, New York
The Union League Club Gallery in NYC is presented a show of my Opera artwork on silk in the month of September.
Papal Visit
I am deeply honored to serve as Art Director for a project involving His Holiness, Pope Francis. Meeting him in person was a once-in-a-lifetime experience—one of profound warmth and inspiration. View the video of this day here.
CARGO x Open City
In the heart of Prati, the design store CARGO was the destination for multiple dream mapping workshops that I hosted. We will be continuing the collaboration in the upcoming year. If you’d like to join me there, get on the Open City experiences email list… and consider joining our Group for Creatives where we boost your creativity monthly online.
Clù Zodiac Collection
This year, I launched a new line of astrology-inspired silk scarves. Each piece in the collection tells the story of the sign and my passion for this ancient system. View the full collection on the Clù website… which by the way was another creative achievement in 2024.
My Creative Team
My amazing Studio collaborators are behind it all. I am continuously grateful for their creativity, spirit and our ongoing projects. Here is to Dariya, Yousef and Francesa (in the photo), along with Terrance and Mauro. And of course all our amazing interns who come in and out each semester.
Reflecting on 2024, my heart brims with gratitude and pride. Each project, show, and collaboration has been a brushstroke on the ever-evolving canvas of my artistic journey.
Here’s to the creative adventures that await in 2025!
