Inner Room Postcards | A Workshop X Cargo

I have been in love with postcards for a long time. It started with the Griffin and Sabine series, those intensely artistic and mysterious correspondence expressed in an interactive book trilogy. Every trip, every city: I collect them, make them, send them. There is something about the format itself that I find irresistible.

A postcard is a micro format. Small enough to complete in one sitting, precious enough to keep forever. There are no rules about what it has to be. This is also the logic behind my Micro Daily Practice. Creativity doesn’t require scale or ceremony, just showing up to a small thing, with intention, consistently.

Come spend an afternoon at Cargo making something with your hands. Write, draw, collage, color – we will bring forth your postcards from the inner room, the imagination. The atmosphere is social and surrounded by the beauty of Cargo’s home design.
