Website Design

Your website is undeniably one of the most important aspects of your brand, your centerpiece. It offers ways for your client to become immediately involved and connected to your brand. While a site’s functionality is primary, to compete in a visually-sophisticated global marketplace, your graphics are paramount making a statement about who you are to your next client. A site’s functionality is crucial to engaging your network and providing a space for your fans and clients to interact with you.

Paperless communication is doing a wonderful thing for print — it’s making it more precious! Investing in the production of a printed piece is akin to buying a luxury design item or personal accessory. In this aspect, good design is remarkably noticable and tactile, from choice of materials, to color quality and format. The production side of creating gorgeous print materials is key, i.e. setting up documents for print so that the finished product matches the projected design.

Who doesn’t need a logo?  A logo can consist of an image or mark, or simply be a typographical treatment. Whichever – or both – are crucial to a company or individual’s “identity”. The logo design process includes research, creative brainstorming and collaboration at every phase of the development. Your vision takes shape through the process, arriving at last at the look, the colors, the fonts and style of your particular brand. Sometimes existing logos need refreshing – like a fresh coat of paint or new curtains in a room. In other instances, an existing logo needs  to be re-imagined and perhaps overhauled for a clearer, more impactful version.

Creating books and magazines is one of the most rewarding creative processes – and also one of the most intense. For self-publishing authors, editors and publishing house art directors, I create a distinctive look for each story. From front cover, to the inside typography and styling, to the index and backcover, each publication is an individual, with its own feeling and message to convey. Authors can choose print-on-demand, PDF downloads or else highly stylized printing – or even one-offs that are letterpress printed – for the final product. For ongoing publications – magazines, annual directories – a strong template provides the skeleton for each edition, allowing for fresh visuals to reflect seasonal or changing content.
