Towards the Sun

My son turned 16, and the theme for the moment is letting go. This image by Tiepolo inspired me, Apollo in flight, reaching for the sun. My desire is for my own son to reach his heights, to master his potential. As he matures, this process becomes his responsibility, and no longer a matter of pure maternal guidance, a fact that a teenage young man is intent on establishing.
