Rome. I live for Beauty | Circolo degli Esteri
I’m delighted to announce Rome. I Live for Beauty, a solo exhibition at the Circolo degli Esteri, Rome from January 24 to February 8.
This collection of digital etchings continues my exploration of beauty as an eternal yet evolving concept, weaving together emotions with symbolism – inspired by the Eternal City, far from my native New York. As a foreigner to the Italian capital, the City’s colors, layers and iconography impacted my senses. In these selected works, which are excerpted from my decade-long “diary” of work, the Iconics series, the Italian landscapes and symbols are interwoven with my brushwork and photography to create new conceptual imagery. The works are printed on acrylic glass.
