After the Namesake
Maybe it\’s because I\’m headed to a second (this season) ashtanga yoga retreat in a week. Maybe it\’s because a dear friend recently relocated to Pondicherry, India. Or perhaps it\’s Jhumpa Lahiri\’s book I can\’t put down (The Namesake). This season, I have all things India in my (third) eye . The aesthetic fits so naturally with summer\’s fullness, the inescapable Roman heat and the longing to be transported.
