Who is Claudia Palmira?

Claudia Palmira is a New Yorker based in Rome. She is a contemporary artist and creative director. Her work spans fine art, exhibition design and luxury design objects, rooted in visual culture, layered symbolism and the dialogue between art and design. She founded her Studio in 1996 in New York. Since then, she has directed international exhibitions, designed for global brands  and exhibited her artworks internationally.

Does she work internationally?

Her Studio is based in Rome. She works internationally across Europe, the United States, the UK, Asia, and the Middle East, collaborating with museums, cultural institutions, luxury brands and private collectors.

Can I visit the Studio?

Yes, the Studio is available to visit by appointment only to view Claudia’s artwork and silk scarf wall.

What is the Iconics/Poetics series?

Iconics/Poetics is her signature body of work: a series of over 100 pieces. These layered digital-analog compositions draw from iconic imagery in art history and poetry. Each piece is produced as a limited-edition print on museum-grade acrylic glass and signed. The book Iconics/Poetics presents the first 101 works.

What is the Studio Immersion experience?

Studio Immersion in collaboration with Naquist, is an in-person session held in Claudia Palmira’s Rome Studio. Guided by her hand, participants are invited to begin making using artist-grade materials and papers, culminating in a final, collaborative work that is printed and shipped to the client.
