The Union League Club Gallery in NYC is presenting a show of my Opera artwork on silk in the month of September.

Claudia Palmira’s art on silk, originally made for the luxury brand Clù, presents a seamless blend of haute couture, fine art, and the emotive power of the opera, resulting in a new form in the realm of fine art.
The artist has crafted each “aria” silk while immersing herself in the operatic repetoire, moving her brush to the music to express the lyrics and the sweep of sound in color and stroke. This unique process imbues each piece with the drama and passion of opera, orchestrating great moments in drama.
Each creation is meticulously printed on the 100% silk with reactive inks. The rich colors and fluid designs capture the dynamic movements and emotional intensity of the performance, making them not just accessories but canvases of wearable art.
